Ben Thompson (b. 1906)

Biography:

Ben Thompson did the pencil and ink work for a proposed weekly comic strip, Masked Marvel, for the Watkins Syndicate in 1939. The strip was solicited in Editor & Publisher magazine, but no examples of it being published are currently known.

Thompson also did gag cartoons for the New York Journal-American (Hearst Corporation, 1937 series), the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (Hearst Corporation, 1921 series), and the Seattle Times (Seattle Times Company, 1891 series). Dates of publication currently not known.
