Paty Cockrum (b. 19??)

Biography:

Paty Cockrum is a comics artist who was active from the early 1970s, with credits primarily as a colorist.

She was a production artist in the classic Marvel Bullpen of the Bronze Age, and she penciled profiles in “The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe” in 1983. She colored there through the early 1990s.

She also colored at publishers such as Deluxe Comics, Lodestone, and Malibu. She colored “Elfquest” comics at WaRP Graphics in the early 1990s.

Cockrum wrote and drew stories in the short-lived anthology “Äardwolf” (Aardwolf, 1994–1995).

Comics creator Dave Cockrum (11 November 1943 – 26 November 2006) was her husband from 1978. Her credits before then were as ‘Paty Greer’, 'Greer' being her first husband's surname. She has also been credited simply as ‘Paty’.
