Biography:

Peter was a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis and member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was one of nine children born to Charles and Beverly Scianna. Peter and his twin brother, Paul, were born in Gulfport on Dec. 10, 1957, making for a family of five boys. Four sisters would follow.

A graduate of Bay St. Louis High School, Peter attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he wowed faculty members with his writing skills. His creative genius subsequently was recognized by DC Comics when it published Peter's "Dragon Knights" in the inaugural issue of its "New Talent Showcase" comic book. He spent most of his professional career in retail management, including positions with Dixie Video and Blockbuster.
