Biography: Under the pen name of Elizabeth Starr, under her maiden name of Betty Hill, and under her married name of Betty Cummings, Cummings wrote children's and romance text stories for Pines [Standard] from 1948 to 1954. Per Bails, she also wrote cartoon and funny animal features, the titles and stories not known.

Per Bails' Cummings also worked for Marvel [Timely] on various unknown features from circa 1940 to circa 1942. Also per Bails, she did office support work for Marvel from 1948 to 1949.
