Biography:

Spencer Williams was an actor, director, and writer in films and on television. Williams is well known for writing and directing African-American films, called at the time "race films" and for playing Andy on The Amos 'n Andy Show that appeared on the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) television network from June 28, 1951 until 1955.

Williams wrote for the Sangor Studio in 1943, but details on what comics he wrote for are unknown.
