Tollin did support work as an assistant editor and in production for Marvel in 1973.
He did support work as a "Jr. Woodchuck" trainee and as a head proofreader for DC in 1974. Tollin continued in production for DC from 1975 to 1985 and as a colorist from 1977 to 1994. He was a research assistant for the 1985 publication from DC, Fifty Who Made DC Great.
Tollin did support work in production for Warren in 1976 and as a colorist for Topps Comics from 1993 to 1994.
He worked as an editor on Comics Revue (Manuscript Press, 1985 series) from 1987 to 1988.
