Biography:

Bob de Moor studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. During World War Two he worked for the AFIM animation studios, where he drew backgrounds for productions like 'Smidje Smee' and 'Hoe Pimmeke ter wereld kwam'. After the war he produced comic strips for the Belgian press and founded the Artec Studio. In 1949 he started working for the magazine Tintin, published by Éditions Lombard. In 1950 he was employed by Hergé studios and became the main assistant to the Hergé. In 1952 de Moor created the comics series he is best known for 'Cori de Scheepsjongen'. He is also known for creating series like 'Meester Mus' and 'Barelli' for Tintin.
