Roomed with fellow New Yorker cartoonist Helen Hokinson for some time early in here career. Roller-skating was a lifelong passion. Married in 1925, Alice and her husband moved to Westport, Connecticut.

Not to be confused with Alice Harvey Eigner, daughter of Robert Harvey and an executive at Harvey Comics.
