Biography:

Charles Quinlan Sr. did support work as an editor for Holyoke, from 1942 to 1943.

Quinlan did work (writer, pencils, inks or pencils and inks or just pencils) for: Eastern Color, during the 1940s; Fiction House, during the 1940s; Worth Carnahan and the Carnahan imprint Bilbara Publishing during 1940; United Feature Syndicate during 1940; Hillman in 1941; Helnit (Temerson / Helnit / Continental) during 1941; Holyoke, from 1941 to 1943; and Pines (Standard/Better/Nedor), from 1942 to 1949.

He also did the same work for: Parents' Magzine Press, from 1943 to 1946; Quality, during 1943 and from 1950 to 1951 and from 1954 to 1956; Four-Star in 1944; St. John, from 1944 to 1945; Magzine Enterprises, from 1944 to 1946; Rural Home during 1945; Fawcett, from 1948 to 1949; and American Comics Group, from 1953 to 1954.
