Biography:

Alfons Maria Mucha, that is known in English and French as Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist, who was born at the Czech region on the Austrian Empire. He was living in Paris during the Art Nouveau period, and was best known for his distinctly stylized and decorative theatrical posters of Sarah Bernhardt.
