E. F. Smith

Biography:

E. F. Smith's known work in comics was credited in the only appearance of the Wilbur feature in Complete Book of Comics and Funnies (Pines, 1944 Series) #1 (1944).

Notes:

Bails' Who's Who speculated that this could have been either Edward Smith or Frank Smith or both, as both artists had animation work credits known.

Not to be confused with Eileen Fitz Smith, who signed as E. F. Smith who did work for Fantagraphics in the 1990s or with Edie Smith who was credited as E. Smith, who co-wrote "As Seen By…" for Mad (EC, 1952 Series) #307 (December 1991).
