Biography:

Had a cartoon published in The East Village Other and then contributed to the first comic book produced entirely by women- "It Ain't Me, Babe" (Last Gasp, 1970). An alumnus of the School of Visual Arts, she freelanced for a few decades in fabric design and silkscreen printing. In the 1990s she went into the restaurant business and then culinary school, becoming a pastry chef, gaining high renown for being by far the best gelato maker in the country.
