Biography: He began as a stockboy at DC in the 1940s. Later was the president of the Licensing Corporation of America (a subsidiary of National Periodicals) 1967 to 1971. Became vice-president of Warners Communication 1971 to 1976. Became co-president of Warners Communication 1976 to 1981. Was indicted on 17 charges of racketeering in 1980.
His wife was Martha Emmet, a novelist.
