Biography:

Sesarego's first cartoon was published in 1944 in Bicho Feo magazine. He had an extensive career in Argentina, including early science fiction stories and Ernie Pike for 'Hora Cero'. With the decline of Argentinian comics from the late 1960s he worked for publishers in the United Kingdom (Amalgamated Press, IPC), United States of America (Charlton, Eerie Publications, DC) and Italy (Eura Editoriale). He had a meticulous, detailed style.

Sesarego taught art throughout his career. From around 1951, he was at Argentina’s Escuela Norteamericana de Arte (later Escuela Panamericana de Arte), before establishing his own school. In 1990, he contributed to a drawing course published as a supplement to Skorpio. He edited several publications, including 'Crash', a magazine devoted to research on Argentine comics. In 1978 he became President of the Asociación de Dibujantes de la Argentina.

He married cartoonist Dora Paz and had at least one son, Guillermo.
