Biography: Lloyd Birmingham was better known as a pulp and fine artist, but did some pencil and ink work in comic books while working for the Gibson Studio, from circa 1945 to circa 1946 (Bails' Who's Who suggested it might be from circa 1943, however Birmingham enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 15, 1943 and was probably not fully discharged until 1945). He is known to have worked on the Blackstone feature.

Birmingham was the creator of The Handy Family (originally named The Fixit Family).
