Anderson did pencil and ink illustrations for the fanzine Omniverse: Journal of Fictional Reality (Alternity Enterprises, 1977 series) #2 (1979). He also contributed to the Jack Kirby Collector (TwoMorrows Publishing, 1994 Series) #19 (April 1998) [Details not currently known].

He assisted Dick Giordano with backgrounds. Details on when or on what work are currently not known.

Anderson did support work in production for DC from 1984 to 1985 and for Marvel from 1986 to 1987.
